Here at Bournemouth Quasar we have 40 state of the art Quasar Elite Packs in our brand new 300sq/meters Arena.
The Arena combines the use of full height mazed sections, and an open area with a gantry which creates an
objective for teams to control.
Under 18's need to make prior bookings on a Friday / Saturday evening from 7pm as Sega Park has an Over 18's
Policy from this time.
Quasar is what is known in the leisure industry as a 'Laser tag' entertainment system.
It involves two teams of players who have to engage each other in the combat arena, with the
objectove being to out score the opponents. Each team has a base unit which must be protected from
the enemy although the objective for each team is to destroy the other teams base. Strong tactics must be employed
to ensure victory and even with a great plan, it all comes down to your skill with a laser gun!
Quasar is an activity which is aimed at many different audiences. Firstly to children from 6 to 13, years, this age group
tends to have Birthday Parties on weekends, and they bring parents to the site to play.
Then there are teenagers, who like to frequently use the site with friends and often become regulars. Quasar makes a
great team building exercise and is therefore very popular with corporate clients. It is also great for any group activity such
as stag and hen do's.
